• Matt Roldan, Vice President Cyber Assurance

  

  Matt Roldan was named Vice President for the Secure Mission Solutions’ Cyber Assurance Business Unit in April 2010.  Since then, Mr. Roldan has led this business unit in its many successes in various SPAWAR contracts and has spearheaded new business areas and opportunities in San Antonio; Washington, D.C.; Chicago; and San Diego. 

  Matt started his career at Secure Mission Solutions in 2007 and held positions including Director, Program Manager, Technical Manager, Subject Matter Expert, and Lead Engineer bringing over 20 years of combined military, government and contractor leadership.

  Prior to joining Secure Mission Solutions, Matt was Director of Engineering at Stanley Associates Inc. starting in 2004 where he was head of all day to day operations and engineering of the IT Products and Services Division. Matt joined Stanley after its acquisition of Fuentes Systems Concepts where he was Chief Engineer/Information Systems Security Officer serving as the Subject Matter Expert for computing systems security and compliance, incident response planning and execution.

  Matt proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for over ten years.  He was deployed to multiple austere locations throughout the globe including South America, Africa, Europe and Southwest Asia.  He participated in both humanitarian and combat military operations such as Just Cause, Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Restore Hope and Joint Endeavor. 

  Matt holds several industry certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP since 2003) and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM since 2004). Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

  Matt is member of and actively involved in the Armed Forces Engineering Association (AFCEA) and Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA).
