Dr. Dave Glovier, Vice President Fleet Support Services
Secure Mission Solutions Vice President of the Fleet Support Services Business Unit, Dr. Dave Glovier, leads the division’s efforts in business development, customer satisfaction, and strategic planning. Since joining Secure Mission Solutions in December 2010, Dave’s leadership and knowledge in communication systems, networks, Joint C4ISR systems integration, satellite systems, and modeling and simulation have assisted in his business unit’s success.
Dave has over 23 years experience in both the federal and commercial business sectors as a technical leader.
Before joining Secure Mission Solutions, Dave became the President and CEO of Pinnacle Network Systems (PNS) in 2007, a company he co-founded in 2000. At PNS he focused on strategic planning and new business development working in Satellite Systems development and Advanced Waveform Analysis. Prior to that Dave was the Chief Technical Officer, Vice President and Director of Research and Development at Dataline Inc. where he was responsible for ongoing operations requiring new and innovative technological solutions, and development of new business areas focusing in Mobile Satellite Communication and Collaborative Technologies for use in a tactical environment.
Previously, Dave served as Assistant Vice President for SAIC information Services where he led the creation of a new SAIC division in Hampton Roads focused on Systems and Network Engineering and Operations supporting SPAWAR and NASA. Dave also served as Chief Engineer for Boeing Information Services where he created strategic and tactical business plans for Boeing IS as well as providing day-to-day oversight and direction to the Boeing IS’s Hampton Roads Division.
Dave’s federal experience is in many technical and programmatic roles for SPAWAR, Defense Information Systems Agency, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Joint Forces Command.
On top of a busy career, Dave was an Adjunct Professor for Old Dominion University for Post Graduate courses in Artificial Intelligence, Expert Systems, and Neural Networks.
Dave holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S. of Engineering Management, and a Ph.D. in Engineering Management with a focus in Modeling and Simulation from Old Dominion University.
