Assisting Law Enforcement in Identifying & Preventing Gang Activity

Secure Missions Solutions’ National Gang Intelligence Center (NGIC) Team designed and developed the first successful nation-wide gang intelligence Information System (IS) for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Responsible for the design, development, operation, and maintenance of the agency’s IS, the Secure Mission Solutions team was able to successfully develop the NGIC IS in one year, a feat that was unsuccessful in attempts by two previous contractors.

The NGIC IS is a set of web-based tools for gathering and sharing gang-related intelligence. It supports law enforcement agencies through timely and accurate information sharing and strategic/tactical analysis of federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement intelligence as it pertains to the growth, migration, criminal activity, and association of violent gangs that pose a significant threat to the United States.
